MEET THE ARTISTS…
Robin Thompson
Robin is a local, independent freelance illustrator, with the distinct pleasure of exhibiting at WestCoast Comic Con for six years, and stands as the illustrious host of their annual cosplay contest.
Comic book credits include artist on the series 'Champions of Hell', 'Zombie Jesus', and 'Captain Spaceman'.
Robin has also been an arts instructor for over 25 years, developing programs at Emily Carr University and local community centres. For the past decade has been the house artist for the holiday attraction 'Cougar Creek's House of Horrors'.
Senzupen
Greetings! I am an illustrator based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. I currently specialize between fanart and original pieces, drawing inspiration from an avid interest for all things film, media and comics. I have had the privilege in collaborating upon a variety of projects throughout my creative journey and am incredibly excited for the opportunity in showcasing a selection of recent works at this upcoming event. Super honoured to be a part of WCCC 2025! Looking forward to meeting you.
Sam Brady
I'm Sam. I have 9 years of experience as an artist in animated film and TV. I've worked mostly as a character and prop designer on things like Go, Dog! Go., Cocomelon and Across the Spider-Verse. Outside of my work as a designer one of my biggest passions is tabletop gaming! If it's DND related I'm in. In my art you will see all this reflected with bright colours and fun designs.
Aida/Yuyu
Aida/Yuyu is a Mexican artist based in Vancouver with a background in Design for Marketing and Animation. Though the illustrations featured by her store, La Poyoshop, are colorful pieces based on Mexican Folk art, Yuyu is a fan of Dark Fantasy classics such as Conan, Elric of Melnibone and Berserk. She is currently working on her own S&S comic.

Electric Lips Comics has been delivering bold, original stories for over eight years, and we’re only
beginning! Driven by our passion for unforgettable storytelling, we’ve created worlds, heroes, and
adventures that transcend our imagination. Now, we're excited to share them with everyone!
We began with an exciting teaser: The MANNA CHRONICLES. Created by Ian Fults, the driving force
and voice of Electric Lips Comics, as well as a voice actor with Electric Lips Productions, this series
debuts with a skilled team, including lead artist Antoine Sandoval and colourists Marie Kerns,
Beezzz Studio, and Tiffany Lee. The pages are lively and energetic, with characters so vivid they
almost leap off the page.
We're now launching our second epic: Tales of Mytherwrel, created by the highly talented Marie
Kerns—an innovative producer and director, also the visionary behind Sorceress Raven
Productions. Her skills in 3D and 2D art and animation have crafted a captivating magic
Mauricio Pommella
Mauricio Pommella is a visual artist with over 20 years of experience focusing primarily on communication and ideas. His works include art direction, graphic design, and illustration for digital and print use. Currently, he works for a digital product studio by day and creates his independent comic projects by night. As a sci-fi and technology aficionado, his stories explore human conflicts, relationships and philosophical problems wrapped into futuristic worlds. He lives in Vancouver, Canada with his wife and two daughters.
Steven Scott
Steven Scott is the Eisner award-winning co-author of the New York Times bestselling graphic memoir THEY CALLED US ENEMY, about the childhood internment of George Takei. His latest work with Takei is IT RHYMES WITH TAKEI, which tells George's coming out story. In addition, Scott has written graphic novels for Capstone, including SIXTH-GRADE SHAPE-SHIFTER and THE MAGIC HISTORY BOOK, plus CAT NINJA, TIME BUDDIES, and more comics for Epic! Originals where he served as a staff writer. He is also the cartoonist of his own comic strip memoir, G'DAY YANK. Having grown up a military brat, he has lived all over the U.S., spent his youth in Australia, and currently resides in Canada.
Konn Lavery
Konn Lavery is a local Vancouver author whose dark fantasy and horror novels has been recognized by Edmonton’s top five bestseller charts and by reviewers such as Readers’ Favourite, and The Wishing Shelf Awards. His work has been described as uncanny and immersive. Each of his stories are housed within the expanding universe known as the Macrocosm spanning across time and space. He balances his literary work along with his own graphic design and website development business. His visual communication skills have been transcribed into the formatting and artwork found within his publications supporting his fascination of transmedia storytelling.

Nick Klie is a Canadian comic book creator living in Kamloops, BC.
Klie manages a comic book and gaming store by day, and frantically works on his comic book at night and weekends.
He cites legendary comic book artists Moebius and Carlos Ezquerra as his main influences.
